How to SEW a Medical FACE MASK (TUTORIAL) (3.27.2020)
This 6-minute video takes you through making a face mask (pattern download). In response to the shortage of face masks for doctors, nurses and healthcare workers there are people across the country that are using their sewing skills to make medical face masks.
These masks do not take the place of N-95 masks but are being used in some areas of healthcare environments and in the general public. If you are interested, check with your local hospitals to see if they need masks you can make.
Ene Thomas, the sewing instructor with the CR Adult Renewal Academy, is producing hundreds of medical face masks to help with shortages in Shreveport, Louisiana.
